marketaiguide.com is operated by DevOpser LLC. This page describes what the site actually does with personal data. If something here does not match what you experience, write to hello@devopser.io and we will fix the page or the software.

What we collect

Almost nothing. You can read every guide and every tool page without giving us anything and without an account.

• Your email address, if you sign in or submit a tool. Signing in works by emailing you a six digit code, so the address is the account.
• What you typed into the submission form: a tool name, a URL, a suggested category, and an optional note.
• Ordinary server logs, which include your IP address and are used to keep the site up and to rate limit abuse.

What we do not collect

There is no analytics tag, no advertising pixel, and no third party tracker on this site. We do not build a profile of you, we do not sell or share personal information, and we have never received a request under a data broker registration because we are not one.

Cookies

One cookie, for your signed-in session. It is set only once you sign in and it exists so the site knows it is still you between pages. It is strictly necessary for a function you asked for, which is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing here to consent to. Your six digit sign-in code is held in temporary server storage and expires after ten minutes.

The mailing list

The submission form has an unticked checkbox asking whether you want occasional email from us. If you leave it unticked, nothing is sent and nothing is shared. If you tick it, the address subscribed is the one on your account, not a separately typed one, and it is passed to our CRM at crm.devopser.io, which is operated by the same company and holds the unsubscribe link and the postal address. We record when you ticked it and the exact wording you were shown, so we can say what you agreed to. Every marketing email carries a one click unsubscribe.

How long we keep it

Account records last until you delete the account. Submissions are kept as editorial records, because a guide entry has to be traceable to where it came from. Server logs roll over on the hosting provider's ordinary schedule.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself at /account. That erases your email address and name from the site's own records, destroys any API keys, and signs you out immediately. Three things worth stating plainly rather than glossing. If you joined the mailing list, deletion also suppresses your address there, which stops the email but is suppression rather than erasure: the list keeps the address in a do-not-mail state, and that record is precisely what prevents it being added again. A pseudonymised row stays in our database so the site can tell that an account once existed without being able to say whose. And tools you submitted that are already published stay in their guides, because those are editorial writing about a product rather than information about you. If you want the suppressed address removed entirely, write to hello@devopser.io.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to it being used for marketing, and to receive a copy. Ask at hello@devopser.io and we will answer. We do not charge for this and we will not make you create an account to exercise a right.

Where the data is

The site and its database run on Amazon Web Services in the United States. If you are writing from outside the United States, your data is processed there.

Changes

If this page changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
